Senior bureaucrat passes away

Indore, Mar 5 (UNI) Senior bureaucrat and Madhya Pradesh Police Housing Corporation (MPPHC) Chairman Avtar Singh Aulakh passed away here today following a cardiac arrest while playing golf.

Inspector General of Police (Indore range) Shailendra Srivastava said Mr Aulakh had come to take part in the MP Open Golf Competition at the Royal Gadha Golf Court.

Mr Aulakh, who had about a couple of years' service left, fell unconscious while playing.

He was rushed to the Bombay Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
