Rain, snow likely at Uttaranchal, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu
Pune, Mar 5 (UNI) Day temperatures were appreciably to markedly above normal in Jammu and Kashmir, Rajasthan and in some parts of west Uttar Pradesh, Uttaranchal, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Saurashtra, Kutch and of north Konkan and were above normal in Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim, Bihar, east Uttar Pradesh, east Madhya Pradesh, south Konkan and in some parts of Orissa, south Madhya Maharashtra, coastal Andhra Pradesh, coastal Karnataka and of Kerala.
They were appreciably below normal in some parts of Marathwada, Tamil Nadu and of south interior Karnataka and were below normal in some parts of north Madhya Maharashtra and in remaining parts of Tamil Nadu.
They were normal over the rest of the country.
Night temperatures were below normal in some parts of east Uttar Pradesh and of south Madhya Maharashtra.
Rain or snow are likely to occur at isolated places in Uttaranchal, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir.
Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at isolated places in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, West Bengal and Sikkim, Orissa, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Chattisgarh, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, south interior Karnataka, Kerala, Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
Mainly dry weather prevailed over the Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab, Gujarat, Konkan and Goa, coastal and north interior Karnataka and Lakshadweep.
Rain or snow have occurred at isolated places in Jammu and Kashmir.
Very light rain have occurred at isolated places in Rayalaseema.
Rain or thundershowers have occurred at a few places in Gangetic West Bengal, Orissa, Vidarbha, Chattisgarh, south interior Karnataka and at isolated places in east Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Kerala.
