Mystical lifts Indian Turf Invitation Cup

Bangalore, Mar 5 (UNI) In a neck-and-neck race, Favourite 'Mystical', ridden by Jockey B Prakash, won the Indian Turf Invitation Cup 2006 (Grade I), the main event of the Bangalore Winter Meeting here today.

The winner is owned by Dr M A M Ramaswamy and trained by S Ganapathy.

Trainers Ganapathy and Arjun Mangalorkar had a treble and double respectively, while jockeys Prakash, Srinath and Mc Cullagh claimed double each.

Punters had a mixed day as four favourites obliged in a card of nine events.
