Gulbarga and Gadag recorded Highest Max Temp of 36 deg cel
Bangalore, Mar 5 (UNI) Following is a Summary of observations recorded by the weather office at 0830 hours here today. Rainfall occurred at a few over South Interior Karnataka and at isolated places over North Interior Karnataka and Coastal Karnataka.
Chief rainfall amounts(cm): Chikmagalur 3; Hassan 2; Bidar, Bellary., Chitradurga 1 each.
Maximum temperatures fell at a few places over South Interior Karnataka and changed little over Coastal Karnataka and North Interior Karnataka. They were above normal at most places over Coastal Karnataka and were normal over Interior Karnataka.
Minimum temperatures changed little over the State. They were above normal at many places over Coastal Karnataka and at a few places over Interior Karnataka.
Gulbarga and Gadag recorded highest maximum temperature of 36 degrees celsius and Belgaum AP recorded lowest minimum temperature of 16.2 degrees celsius over the State.
Forecast valid until Tuesday morning: Rain/thundershowers likely to occur at a few places over South Interior Karnataka and at isolated places over Coastal Karnataka and North Interior Karnataka.
Forecast for Farmers: Light to moderate likely to occur at a few places over Bidar, Gulbarga, Raichur, Koppal districts of North Interior Karnataka and Bellary. and Davangere districts of South Interior Karnataka and at isolated places over all the districts of Coastal Karnataka and remaining districts of North Interior Karnataka and South Interior Karnataka.
Forecast for Bangalore: Partly cloudy. Rain/thundershowers likely towards evening/night. Maximum and minimum temperature would be around 32 degrees celsius and 21 degrees celsius respectively.
