Govt will consider setting up of new court complex: Azad
Jammu, Mar 5 (UNI) The Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad has said the government would consider the demand of setting up the additional sessions court and a new court complex at Sopore in Kashmir.
Talking to a deputation of Bar Association at his residence here yesterday, the CM also announced the allocation of Rs five lakhs for purchase of books for Sopore Bar Association library.
The Bar Association, led by Abdul Gani Vakil, MLC and accompanied by its president. Mir Mohammad Maqbool, urged Mr Azad for expeditious completion of the hospital building and upgradation of civic amenities in the town.
The deputation, also stressed for augmenting drinking water supply, development of sapphire mines and fixing headquarters of newly-created Padder tehsil at Atholi besides construction of several link roads in the area.
