Three killed, 24 injured as KSRTC bus overturnes
Thiruvananthapuram, Mar 4 (UNI) Three people were killed and 24 others injured, some of them seriously, when a Kerala State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) bus overturned after skidding at Ambalathinkara, near Kazhakootam, in the district today.
The deceased were identified as Eliyas George of Mangalapuram, Abbas (45) of Pallithura and Venugopal of Menamkulam.
The incident occured when the KSRTC bus, proceeding to Chathannur from here, overtuned after hitting a tree, police said.
The injured, including ten women, were admitted to the Medical College Hospital here.
In another accident in the morning ,16 people were injured when a KSRTC bus collided with a tempo van at Pappanamcode, also in the district, police added UNI CGV VV SM2034
