Three feared washed away in flood waters

Coimbatore, Mar 4: Three persons were feared washed away, when a jeep in which they were travelling was caught in the flood waters following heavy rain at Thadagam near here.

Police said Antony and his two associates, running a travel agency, were returning to Coimbatore from Kerala last night when the accident occurred.

The driver of the vehicle Ganesan, who managed to escape, sustained injuries and was admitted to hospital, the police said.

Efforts were on to trace the victims and the vehicle.
