Sociology, Mathematics paper cancelled at three centres

Dharamshala, Mar 4 (UNI) The twelfth standard Sociology paper and tenth standard Mathematices paper in three examination centres of Himachal Pradesh were today cancelled after a HP Board of School Education (HPBSE) official detected mass copying in the centres.

The board cancelled the papers after a flying squad of the Board, headed by Secretary K D Lakhanpal, noticed mass copying in Government Senior Secondary School Baggli, GAV Senior Secondary School, Kangra and Government Senior Secondary School Rait, Board Chairman BR Rahi told UNI here.

He said the new dates and name of the centres for the holding of fresh examination of these papers would be announced later.

The board, in a meeting held later in the day, also decided to take action against students indulging in copying and people aiding in the process, Mr Rahi added.
