Novel competition for management students

Chennai, Mar 4: The city based 'HRINNOVATORS' , a core group of Human Resources professionals, will organise a branded inter-collegiate debate competition ''Crossfire-the battle of wits'' for budding management students in the country, here on March 11.

A company press release here said about 50 teams from different parts of the country and from countries like Pakistan, Nepal, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Singapore would be participating in the competition.

Virtusa, a US based software MNC, Sathyam Cinemas, Chennai and Thomas International would be the sponsors for the event, the release added.

The event would be held for the second successive year. Last year, about 20 teams from various management institutions around Chennai had participated.

It said the second edition of the competition has been widened to cover more cities like Kochi, Hyderabad, Coimbatore, Madurai, Bangalore, Kolkata and Chennai.
