Marine Drive rape case: Hearing adjourned till March 10

Mumbai, Mar 4 (UNI) After prosecution sought more time to file their reply in the infamous Marine Drive rape case, a Sessions court today adjourned the hearing till March 10.

After recording the accused's statement in this case, the matter was adjourned for today in which the prosecution had to restart their argument. However, it was again adjourned by Additional Sessions Judge K U Chandiwal on a request from the public prosecutor seeking more time.

Justice Chandiwal, who has been assigned to hear the rape case, completed recording the statement of the dismissed constable Sunil Atmaram More, an accused charged with raping a 17-year-old girl on April 21 last year inside a police outpost at Marine drive in South Mumbai.

Earlier, the court had completed the examination of 27 witnesses in this case.
