Ahmedabad, Mar 4 (UNI) Jamat-e-Islami Hind state unit chief Mohammad Shafi Madni today said the Bannerjee Commission Report on Godhra train carnage and Best Bakery case judgment, one after the other, have reposed the victims' faith in the judiciary.

Mr Madni, in a release here, urged the courts to release POTA detenues in the Godhra case, taking cognizance of the Bannerjee Commission findings which dismisses the 'conspiracy theory'.

The report categorically said the fire was accidental and not deliberate. It also dismisses the Gujarat Police allegation that the coach was bolted from outside alongwith fire, as deposed by Additional Director General of Police Shreekumar and Superintendent of Police Raju Bhargava.

The report findings said there was no mob at Godhra railway station at the time of incident, which is very important in regard of the case and therefore, must be taken note-of, the release added.
