Goa to participate in Berlin tourism trade fair
Panaji, Mar 4: Goa will participate in the International Tourism Trade Fair which is scheduled to begin from March eight in Berlin.
Deputy Chief Minister Wilfred D'Souza, who is also Tourism Minister told mediapersons here that the state participated in the trade fair every year and this year too, he along with tourism secretary will be going to Berlin.
He said his government was thinking to upgrade the infrastructure with modern facilities to attract more domestic as well as international tourists.
The global tenders, floated by the Tourism department, were opened on Thursday and three quotations had been received, he said.
Mr D'souza said the Chief Secretary had been asked to form a three-member expert committee to decide the proposals received and finalise the same.
