Four shopkeepers injured in miscreants attack

Allahabad, Mar 4 (UNI) Four shopkeepers were seriously injured when miscreants opened fire on them in Rajroop Pur area here last night.

According to police, the shopkeepers caught hold of two youths involved in eve-teasing in Rajroop Pur area last night and gave a sound thrashing to both of them after which they were allowed to go.

Within an hour the youths returned with several others and started beating up the shopkeepers and also opened fire in which four shopkeepers received injuries.

One of the shopkeepers who received serious injuries, was admitted to a local hospital while the miscreants escaped.

Police have lodged a report and were searching for the miscreants.
