Former Sarpanch killed in Bihar

Gopalganj, Mar 4 (UNI) Former Sarpanch of Narayanur panchayat was shot dead under Thawe police station area in the district today.

Police said the deceased Banke Baitha was killed when he was engaged in discussions with the local people.

Land dispute was allegedly the reason behind the murder.

Two people had been taken into custody and further investigation was on, the sources added.
