Dharma Samsad begins in Tirupati
Tirupati, Mar 4 (UNI) The two-day Dharma Sansad began with the blessings of kanchi acharya Jayendra Sarwaswati and Dayananda Saraswati of Coimbatore at the Srinivasa Kalyana mandapam here today.
Nearly 1,000 acharyas and heads of various mutts and religious institutions besides sadhus and sanths from four southern states participated in the Dharma Sansad meet of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad.
The Tirupati conclave was the sixth in the series with similar meetings earlier held at Hardwar, Prayag, Gujarat Puri and Guwahati.
VHP international president Ashok Singhal and national general secretary Praveen Thgogadia participated in the meeting.
