Dawood's nephew detained in fake passport case
Mumbai, Mar 4 (UNI) The Nagpada Police here have detained underworld don Dawood Ibrahim's nephew Danish Parker for interrogation in a forgery case.
Police said Dawood's elder sister Hasina Parker had been implicated in 1999 for preparing forged passport in the name of her son, Danish.
However, since Danish was a minor at that time, he was not made a co-accused in that case. The passport office, however, had then directed Danish to surrender the passport but he had failed to do so.
Yesterday, Danish was attempting to leave for Bangkok on the same passport, police said. The airport officials lodged a complaint with the police following which he was detained under the Criminal Procedure Code.
