Sambalpur, Mar 4 (UNI) BJP Yuba Morcha activists today resorted to dharna before the Revenue Divisional Commissioner (RDC) office here and submitted a memorandum demanding enquiry into alleged black marketing of kerosene in the district.

The BJYM activists had earlier ransacked the office of the Civil Supply Officer (CSO) and lodged an FIR in the local police station alleging that the CSO office staff had misbehaved with the activists.

However, the town police acting on an FIR of the Additional Civil Supply Officer arrested the BYJM District representative Sanjaya Patnaik yesterday.

Mr Patnaik was involved in another case in which Deputy Director of Fisheries and Regional Transport office was attacked on charges of corruption.

Sambalpur CSO P C Mafidar, when contacted, denied any irregularity in kerosene distribution in the district.

He claimed that he had suspended the maximum number of dealers and sub-dealers for the gross negligence they committed in the PDS.
