Apang allocates portfolios to new ministers
Itanagar, Mar 4 (UNI) Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Gegong Apang has allocated portfolios to the three new ministers inducted in the cabinet on March one.
While former Speaker and Education minister Tako Dabi got IFCD, Parliamentary Affairs, Panchayati Raj and Elections minister Kalikho Pul, the longest serving finance minister, was allocated Finance, Planning and Tax and Excise; and former IFCD and Tourism Minister Lombo Tayeng was given Industries, Handloom&Handicraft, Trade&Commerce and Social Welfare.
However, the Chief Minister retained the important Home portfolio.
The portfolios of the entire council of ministers including Chief Minister are: Gegong Apang, Chief Minister retaining all departments not allocated to any cabinet minister; Nabam Tuki- PWD, Urban Development; Chowna Mein- Education, Cooperation; Newlai Tinkhatra- Environment and Forest; C C Singpho- Civil Supply, Health&Family Welfare; Tater Kipa- PHED; Tanga Byaling- RWD, Rural Development; Dorjee Khandu- Power, Relief&Rehabilitation; Tsering Gyurme- Agriculture, Horticulture, Animal Husbandry&Veterinary; Lombo Tayeng- Industries, Handloom&Handicraft, Trade&Commerce and Social Welfare; Tako Dabi- IFCD, Parliamentary Affairs, Panchayati Raj and Elections; and Kalikho Pul- Finance, Planning and Tax&Excise.
