Another CISF jawan succumbs to injury
Bokaro, Mar 4 (UNI) With the death of another CISF jawan, the death toll in yesterday's naxal attack on its barrack and Bokaro-Jharia police outpost rose to five today, police said.
The deceased included three CISF jawans and two police constables.
The ultras blew up the CISF barrack by blasting dynamite and attacked the police outpost with sophisticated weapons.
CISF Inspector General R P Dubey said,''One jawan was shot dead by the ultras after blowing up the barrack. R K Singh, who was critically injured, succumbed in the hospital today.'' Financial help and employment to one of the deceased would be provided, he added.
Meanwhile, district Superintendent of Police Manbinder Singh said the borders of the district had been sealed and efforts were on to nab the utras.
