30 marriage party members injured in Tripura road accident

Agartala, Mar 4 (UNI) At least 30 members of a marriage party, including the newly wed bride and the groom, were injured when their bus skidded off the road and rolled into a ditch at Naijalbari in Tripura's Dhalai district yesterday, police said today.

The injured were taken to a nearby hospital, where they were released after initial treatment.

Police said the marriage party had to spend the night at Ambassa because of non-availability of police escort. It, however, left for their destination today.
