2 girls die of drowning

Siddharthnagar, Mar 4 (UNI) Two minor girls allegedly drowned in a pond in Maghar town of the neighbouring Sant Kabirnagar district of Uttar Pradesh.

Police today said Wahida Khatoon and Jantunisan were digging soil near the pond yesterday when they lost control and fell in the water body.

Later, their bodies were fished out.
