YSR appears to NRIs to encourage investors

Hyderabad, Mar 3 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Chief Minsiter Y S Rajasekhara Reddy today called upon the NRIs settled in US to impress upon the American Senators on India being a suitable investment destination for investors.

Detailing his one-to-one interaction with Mr Bush, Dr Reddy said the US President told that there was lot more to happen apart from cooperation in nuclear field between the two countries.

He said Mr Bush advised him to ask NRIs settled in the US to garner support of Senators for future partnerships.

''Specifically, Mr Bush told me that NRIs should be able to project India in a positive manner before leaders like Former US First Lady Hillary Clinton,'' he added.

Dr Reddy said he assured Mr Bush that he would appeal to all the NRIs in this regard.
