Widow and son murdered in Orissa

Berhampur, Mar 3 (UNI) A 45 year old widow and her son were brutally murdered here.

Police said Rajkumari Sahu and her son Kiran Kumar Sahu(22) were yesterday killed in their house in Ashok Nagar 3rd Lane. The mother-son duo were staying at their double storied house.

Police found the dead bodies inside the house last night while the house was locked from out side. The son, police said, was reading in Plus Three at Khallikote Autonomous College here.

Police suspect family feud might be the sequel to this brutal murder. Berhampur Superintendent of Police Rajesh Kumar who visited the spot said a scientific team would arrive today to further facilitate the investigations.

The dead bodies, he said, would be sent for post mortem after the scientific team arrived and conducted the necessary investigation.
