Tirupati, Mar 3 (UNI) The Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) international President Ashok Singhal today welcomed the visit of US President George Bush.

He also said the VHP would launch an agitation against the interference of the Centre in the affairs of temple mutts.

Talking to newspersons at Thirumala after offering worship at the temple of Lord Venkateswara, he said the Centre should not encourage any outside interference in its internal affairs, he said.

Mr Singhal arrived in this temple town last night along with VHP's Natonal General Secretary Praveen Togadia to participate in the 11th 'Dharma Sansad' organised by it.

Mr Togadia said the meet will discuss VHP's future course of action on the Ram temple issue.
