UP Board exams commence tomorrow

Allahabad, Mar 3 (UNI) The High School and Intermediate Examinations 2006, being conducted by Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad, will commence from tomorrow at various centres.

The high school and intermediate exams will conclude on April 5 and April 10 respectively, a Parishad official said.

Nearly 46 lakh candidates, 28 lakh high school and 18 lakh intermediate students -- have been registered this year.

The Parishad took the decision for holding both exams early so that the students got enough time to prepare for medical and engineering enterance exams.
