Rehabilitate victims of terrorism in Punjab: Khanna

New Delhi, Mar 3 (UNI) Mr Avinash Rai Khanna (BJP) today demanded in the Lok Sabha a rehabilitation package for the victims of terrorism in Punjab.

Raising the issue during zero hour, Mr Khanna said the Delhi Development Authority (DDA) was demolishing their houses constructed on plots allotted to them. The government had stopped in 1997 their monthly pension, ranging from Rs 300-1,000.

The government should immediately ensure that they were evacuated from their places and take steps to rehabilitate them back in Punjab by providing jobs to their children.
