Quake rocks North East

New Delhi, Mar 2 (UNI) A moderate earthquake, measuring 5.3 on the Richter Scale, rocked Manipur and adjoining states late tonight.

The temblor, epicentred at 24.4 deg North and 94.0 deg East at Indo-Myanmar border in Manipur, was felt at 2247 hrs IST, according to India Meteorological Department.

However, there were no reports of loss of life or property.
