Baghdad, March 03: More than 50 suspected Sunni insurgents attacked a small town near Baghdad at dusk yesterday (mar 02, 2006) and killed a large number of Shi'ite workers, police and Interior Ministry sources confirmed today (Mar 03, 2006).
A local politician had said at least 25 people were killed in the attack on the town of Nahrawan, just southeast of the capital, in what he called a 'sectarian attack' on Shi'ites.
