People throng Begumpet area to see Bush land

Hyderabad, Mar 3 (UNI) An enthusiastic crowd was caught busy looking at the sky near the Begumpet airport to have a glimpse of the magnificient Air Force one' in which the US President George Bush arrived here.

People were seen on top of high rise buildings in the area to witness the arrival of Mr Bush. Many were seen with binoculars, handycams and digital cameras. Some of them who wanted to have a good view of the landing, gathered on the Balamrai and Bowenpally routes, just behind the airport, from where they could get a good view even by standing at some locations on the main road.

Many people with children also gathered right from 0900 hrs in the morning on a flyover, to the south of the airport.

Even as all eyes were searching the sky, the Air Force One' was spotted coming from the Bowenpally side. People driving their two-wheelers and four-wheelers halted their vehciles on the road side and saw the landing.

As the crowd was gathering on the road, police had a tough time clearing them for sometime. 'Air Force One' landed at 1000 hrs.

People also watched as the US President and his entourage took off in three helicopters at around 1020 hrs to go to Acharya NG Ranga Agricultural University. The spectacular view of helicopters was clear from the flyover.
