Official arrested by ACB

Vijayawada, Mar 3 (UNI) Sleuths of the Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) today arrested a senior assistant working in Executive Engineer's Office at Bhavanipuram for allegedly taking bribe.

ACB Deputy Superintendent of Police K Mahipal Reddy told UNI here Sayed Dil Dar Begum demanded Rs 1,000 from S Purnachandra Joshi for handing over the original registration document for his house.

He informed the matter to ACB officials who laid a trap and caught her red-handed.
