Maoists produced before court

Purulia, Mar 3 (UNI) Two surrendered women Maoist cadres, who were produced before a court here, have been remanded to police custody for eight days.

The cadres Ms Sulekha Mahato and Ms Bimala Sardar surrendered at Belpahari in West Midnapore on February 7.

The cadres were wanted in connection with the investigations relating to brutal killings of senior CPI-M district committee member Rabi Kar and his wife Anandamoyee on December 30 at Bhomragapa village of Purulia district.
