Mysore, Mar 3: Former Karnataka Chief Minister and Samajwadi Party State President S Bangarappa today (Mar 3, 2006) said the 'unholy Janata Dal (Secular)-Bharatiya Janata Party coalition Government' in the state would meet with a similar fate as that of the Dharam Singh-led Government.

Talking to reporters here, he said the new Government would collapse soon.

Stating that his party had gained some grounds in the state after the recent elections to Taluk and Zilla Panchayats, Mr Bangarappa said it would be further strengthened. The party would contest on its own in the coming elections to Municipalities and Corporations, he added.

He said the party would launch a statewide agitation against the Centre and State Government from next month and the course of action would be decided at its state-level meeting to be held in Bangalore.
