Iraq gov't declares daytime curfew Friday-state TV
BAGHDAD, Mar 2 (Reuters) Iraq's government declared a daytime curfew on Friday, the Muslim day of prayers, state televison said late tonight.
Sectarian violence since the bombing of a Shi'ite shrine in Samarra on February 22 has killed at least 478 people, according to conservative official estimates, pushing Iraq to the brink of civil war.
