First UP IT Expo from Apr 1 to 3 in Lucknow

Lucknow, Mar 3 (UNI) The Uttar Pradesh government, for the first time, will organise an Information and Technology Expo in the state from April one.

Managing Director of UP Electronics Corporation Onkar Nath said here today that the IT and Electronics department will organise 'IT Expo 2006 Infocom 2K6' in the King George Medical University (KGMU) Convention Centre here from April one to April three.

Over 300 leading companies from the IT sector, including Microsoft, Wipro, HCL, Intel, TCS, Reliance Infocomm, Kritisoft, Spicenet India, Birlasoft and Pyramid Consulting will showcase their software/hardware products and also provide latest information on the sector.

Mr Nath further said that besides, IT Expo, a Job Fair is also being organised during the same three-day period at National Inter College here, where top 20 IT companies will recruit promising MBA, B Tech, M Tech, BE, M Com and M Sc degree holders.
