College student commits suicide

Thrissur, Mar 3 (UNI) A student of a private college allegedly committed suicie by hanging herself in the toilet of her residence at Punkunnam here today.

The deceased was identified as Rasmi(24), a post-graduate student of a local college.

Failure in some of the examinations was said to be the reason for taking the extreme step.

The marriage of the deceased had been fixed on April three, police said.

UNI
