Bush leaves for Delhi
Hyderabad, Mar 3 (UNI) US President George W Bush and First Lady Laura Bush left for New Delhi after a four-hour visit to the Pearl City.
The President attended two programmes in the city and interacted with women's Self Help Groups (SHG) and management students at the International School of Business (ISB).
Mr Bush arrived at the Pearl City around 0930 hrs in the morning and proceeded to the Acharya N G Ranga Agricultural University (ANGRAU) where he interacted with the SHGs. He was also briefed on the culture and agricultural practices in Andhra Pradesh.
At the ISB, Mr Bush spoke to students and assured them of more opportunities for Indian professionals in his country.
The US President was seen off at the airport by Governor Rameshwar Thakur and Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy.
