Bush admires Indian youth

Hyderabad, Mar 3 : US President George W Bush today expressed his great admiration for Indian youth who had the capacity to bring economic prosperity to India.

''The greatness of India is the vitality of the youth,'' he noted while interacting with 16 young entrepreneurs at a round table at the prestigious Indian School of Business, promoted by Wharton and Kellog, one of the top American business schools.

''I am honoured to be here. I am excited about the strategic partnership between the two countries, which is in our interest,'' he said.

Terming the ISB as a ''centre of excellance in education'', he said, ''it is a new school using innovative techniques and new tools for success.'' Elaborating on the virtues of free trade and enterprise, he said, ''entrepreneurs grow in great countries. People realise dreams and get great jobs.'' The visit was a gesture highlighting the American values of celebrating entrepreneurs who create free enterprise guaranteeing jobs and wealth.

The US believes that promoting great institutions (such as ISB) was best way of ensuring sustained economic development of any country. Hence the venue was selected for the interaction, American Consulate sources said.
