Bihar to announce sports policy soon

Patna, Mar 03 (UNI) The Bihar government today said a sports policy would be announced soon.

Replying to a starred question of Mr Nagendra Prasad Singh in the State LEgislatice Council, Bihar Sports Minister Janardan Singh Segriwal said the state sports policy was being drafted to improve sports activities and also to encourage promising players.

He said that the new sports policy would be announced after taking all related aspects into account.

Mr Segriwal said players who had excelled in international and national level sports events, would be preferred for appointment in the police force.
