90 held for obscenity in raids on two bars

Mumbai, Mar 3 (UNI) Over 90 people, including 31 bar girls, were arrested for indulging in obscenity during raid on two bars at Vidhya Vihar and Chembur suburbs early today.

Police here said the raids were conducted after midnight at Natraj bar in Vidhya Vihar and Cammondo bar in Chembur, from where 90 people, including bar girls, bar managers, customers and other staff members were arrested.

They were booked under section 294 (obscene activities) of the IPC and will be produced in Kurla metropolitan court this afternoon, police added.
