Young woman hanged to death

Hubli, Mar 2 (UNI) A young woman was allegedly hanged to death by her husband and in-laws as she refused to entertain their frequent dowry demands.

According to a complaint registered with the suburban police station by the ill-fated woman Roopa's mother Vijaylaxmi Kabade, Roopa had married Sanjeev nine years ago and they had two children.

She was hanged on February 23 last as she failed to bring the cash and ornaments demanded by her in-laws.
