TDP to respond on EC notices to the party : Naidu

Hyderabad, Mar 2 (UNI) Telugu Desam Party (TDP) President and former Chief minister N Chandrababu today said the party would respond to the notices issued by the Election Commission (EC) for violating the code of conduct during the by-election to the Visakhapatnam-I Assembly constituency which was countermanded on February 28.

Talking to newspersons here, he said the party respected the EC and its notices issued to the party on violation of code of conduct.

As a responsible party, the TDP was ready to react on the notices, he added.

Alleging that the EC had countermanded the byelection for violating the code of conduct by the ruling Congress and the officials concerned, Mr Naidu said the party would fight tooth and nail against the Congress in the repoll scheduled to be held on March 25.
