HC directs ASI to fill up 4 trenches in Ayodhya
Lucknow, Mar 2 (UNI) The Lucknow Bench of the Allahabad High Court, hearing the Ram Janmabhoomi-Babri Masjid ownership issue today ordered the filling up of four trenches, dug up near the disputed site by the Archaelogical Survey of India (ASI).
A Special Full Bench of the HC comprising Justices Bhanwar Singh, S R Alam, O P Srivastava passed the order on an application filed by the ASI.
In its order, the court directed to fill up trenches no. K-01, H-07, H-09 and E-09.
The court also posted the case for further hearing on March 27.
