GM ropes in Rani Mukherjee

Mumbai, Mar 2 (UNI) Bollywood actors Saif Ali Khan and Rani Mukherjee will endorse the General Motors India's latest offering, a mid-sized sedan 'Chevrolet Aveo'.

GM has signed on both the actors to endorse its much awaited 'Aveo', which is seen as a car with segment defining performance, great looks, styling, space and fuel efficiency, an official release here today stated.

The Aveo - built at its manufacturing facility in Halol, Gujarat, is expected to take on the Ford Fiesta and Honda city, is also set to redefine the small car segment, the release added.

The vehicle is powered by a choice of proven 1.4-litre and 1.6-litre petrol engine and has a comprehensive array of safety and security features.

Aveo is the first of three new Chevrolet products debuting within the first six months of this year. It will be joined by the Aveo U-VA and Optra SRV in the following months as part of the largest expansion of GM India's vehicle line-up in the company's history.
