Ford India sales up

Chennai, Mar 2 (UNI) Ford India sold 3,023 units last month compared to 2,062 during the corresponding period last year.

Ford India Managing Director Arvind Mathew, in a release here today, said the response to the 'Fiesta' model was ''extraordinary.'' Thrilled about the roll-out of the 10,000th Ford Fiesta, he said the company's growth reflected the ''excellent value proposition'' it offered across all Ford models in India.

Ford recently unveiled a new marketing campaign in the country with a theme 'Make Every Day Exciting,' to represent the spirit.
