Cong MLA urges CM to start work on Metro Rail in Hyd

Hyderabad, Feb 2 (UNI) Congress MLA P Janardhana Reddy today urged Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy to immediately start the work on the long pending Metro Rail project.

In a letter to Chief Minister, he said as the city was facing traffic congestion and pollution, Metro Rail was the only problem to solve the twin problems.

Expressing satisfaction over Union Finance Minister Chidambaram making a special mention about the Metro Rail project in Andhra Pradesh, he hoped the Centre would also provide sufficient funds for taking up the project.
