Alok beaten, Indian challenge over in World Snooker Championship
New Delhi, Mar 2 (UNI) Indian challenge in the IBSF World Snooker Championship came to a crashing end with former Asian champion Alok Kumar losing his semifinal match to local sensation Gavin Pentall at Pontin's, Wales today.
According to information received here, Alok lost 5-8 to his teenaged opponent.
Earlier, Aditya Mehta and former World champion Pankaj Advani had crashed out of the event losing their pre-quarterfinal matches.
