Pune, Mar 1 (UNI) Rain or snow are likely to occur at isolated places in Uttaranchal, Himachal Pradesh, and Jammu and Kashmir.

Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at isolated places in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, and Madhya Pradesh.

Day temperatures were appreciably to markedly above normal in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, West Bengal, Sikkim, Orissa, Jharkhand, Bihar, east Uttar Pradesh, Uttaranchal, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Vidarbha, Chattisgarh, coastal Andhra Pradesh and in some parts of east Madhya Pradesh and coastal Tamil Nadu. They were above normal in Rajasthan, Telangana, Rayalseema and in some parts of Punjab, Jammu and Kashmir, interior Tamil Nadu, interior Karnataka and in remaining parts of east Madhya Pradesh.

Night temperatures were below normal in some parts of north Gujarat. They were appreciably to markedly above normal in Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, West Bengal, Sikkim, Jharkhand, Bihar, east Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Goa, Chattisgarh, Rayalseema and in some parts of Orissa, Rajasthan and in remaining parts of Gujarat. They were above normal in west Uttar Pradesh, Uttaranchal, Haryana, Punjab and in some parts of Jammu and Kashmir and Tamil Nadu and in remaining parts of Orissa and Rajasthan. They were normal over the rest of the country.
