Over 1000 overseas buyers to visit Tex-Styles India fair
New Delhi, Mar 1 (UNI) Union Textiles Minister Shankersinh Vaghela today inaugurated the 12th edition of the Tex-Styles India 2006 fair in which more than 1000 foreign buyers are expected to visit and source their requirements.
About 378 leading Indian and overseas exhibitors are participating in the 4-day mega event showcasing a wide range of fabrics, yarns, furnishings, shawls and textile gifts.
Internationally recognised branded products, exquisite styling and richness of colours and weaves are also on display.
A 60-member delegation from the European Union would also be visiting the fair.
The special features at the fair include Theme Pavilion depicting the Indian industry's capabilities, Fabric Folio offering a bird's eye-view of the innovations, concepts and development evolved by the participating companies and other production centres.
A Seminar on ''Indian Textiles: Global Opportunities&Threats'' would be organised during the fair on March 3, 2006.
The fair is being organised by the India Trade Promotion Organisation (ITPO).
