HC allows withdrawal of petitions in Siruseri Sipcot land sale
Chennai, Mar 01 (UNI) Madras High Court today allowed the withdrawal of the petitions, seeking a CBI probe into the alleged sale of Siruseri Sipcot land to a Singapore-based company in view of the Tamil Nadu Government's submission that the allotment had been cancelled.
A Division Bench comprising Chief Justice A P Shah and Ms Justice K Suguna said in view of the cancellation of allotment and the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the government, the main prayer in the writ petitions do not survive.
