Examinee killed in police firing, two students injured in Bihar

Gaya, Mar 1 (UNI) An examinee of the Intermediate examination was killed amd two students were injured in police firing at Manpur village under Mufassil police station of this district today.

Police said two groups of students got involved in an altercation after they came out of the Jagjivan college, the examination centre of the Intermediate examination.

Police had to fire to control the situation as the rival groups began pelting stones at each other. A student Krishna Kumar was killed while two others sustained injuries.

The injured had been admitted to a local hospital.

Meanwhile, local people staged a demonstration to protest the police firing.
